"the burn"

So this past summer, i lifeguarded a little but mainly I did private swim lessons. When i was doing swim lessons this summer i got extremely sunburn, but only on the the part of my back that is right in the middle of my back...it was weird.

So, i couldn't get in the water for a really long time(like 2 weeks) because the chlorine was seriosuly eating my skin!(oh yes, yummy sounding....i know!)

I heard from the doctor, that this sumer will be crucial for my back....it could basicaly make or take me having skin cancer in my back when i am older.

SO here is a pic...that shows you my multi colored back!

So, the year of the "Great '08" is coming to and end. Should this bring joy, sadness, contentment, what?

Have i used this year wisely....have i lived the life that My God and Savior wants me to?

Here's the deal, in a sense, we live life here on earth from year to year. Every January 1st we make our new year resolutions which usually in tail weight lose, praying more, reading our Bible's more, and being nicer to people. But when you think about it we shouldn't give ourselves new goals. those things more importantly the spiritual things, and our attitude towards others should be never ending goals. Not something we work on in the year 2009, but not in 2010. We are called to be kind to others, take care of our bodies, and remain in a close relationship with God...we aren't given "years/months" off from doing those things. We are commanded to do it 24/7/365.

So think about it...and i would love to hear back from you.

1-what are some spiritual goals you have for yourself in the year 2009(to continue until....foreverness)

2-what are some just fun and random goals you have for the year 2009(that you only have to do this year.....cause that would be weird to do it until you are 99)

3-what are some things that you would like to see our world change in this up coming year 2009?

i know this is random....and probably doesn't make much sense.....but whatever!
